The University of Greenwich can trace its roots back to 1890, though it was awarded university status in 1992. It is located in the London borough of Greenwich. Additional campuses are located at Medway, Kent and at Avery Hill in Eltham South. Around 4,000 international students are currently studying at Greenwich. The University has particular strengths in Business Studies in Education, Training, Lifelong training and in Computing, Information systems and Multimedia Technology.
