This course is a vocational programme, which looks to progress knowledge, increase skills and allow students to further realise their creative potential. On this course, they will produce their own audio works, improve awareness of relevant working methodologies, arranging and instrumental skills and also learn the codes and conventions of the professional practitioner which will be examined through case studies of relevant examples.

Students should have the following one of the requirements: BTEC ND in an appropriate area or AVCE/GNVQ in an appropriate vocational area. A GCE A-level profile which demonstrates strong performance in a relevant subject or an adequate performance in more than one GCE subject. This profile is likely to be supported by GCSE grades at level A-C. Other related level 3 qualifications. Open College level 3 qualifications at 50% or above. NVQ level 3 in relevant vocational areas. Relevant work experience or professional qualifications.
